Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a leading organization in the energy sector. In this strategic role, you will drive the evolution of the enterprise architecture landscape, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology initiatives, and long-term digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and continuously improve the enterprise architecture governance framework, including principles, standards, policies, and reference architectures.

• Lead architecture governance processes and facilitate architecture review boards.

• Support strategic decision-making by providing architectural guidance and recommendations.

• Coach and mentor architects and technical teams across the organization.

• Assess business and technology gaps and define target-state architectures.

• Conduct architecture trade-off analyses and cost-benefit assessments.

• Maintain architecture repositories, models, and architecture decision records.

• Validate architectural recommendations with senior business and IT stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide technology roadmaps.

• Perform architecture alignment assessments and compliance reviews.

• Contribute to enterprise data architecture standards and governance practices.

• Define pragmatic roadmaps to increase enterprise architecture maturity.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture.

• Proven experience with architecture governance and Architecture Review Boards.

• Strong knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, ITIL, Domain-Driven Design, and enterprise architecture best practices.

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and platform governance.

• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with architecture modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, LeanIX, or similar.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience in large-scale transformation programs.

• Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is an asset.

• Fluent English is mandatory. French, Dutch, or German is a plus.

Additional Information:

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Work Model: Hybrid (approximately 2 days onsite per week)
